One of the first workshops for writers-of-color, VONA/Voices offers workshops two times a year: our summer week-long workshop at the University of California, Berkeley and our January weekend intensive at the University of Miami. Over one-thousand writers have experienced VONA/Voices and many have succeeded in publishing their works, developing a writing practice, entering masters programs, becoming writing instructors and creating their own publishing companies. VONA/Voices invites writers of color of all levels and experiences to apply for our workshops.
