but will meet the requirements
of most academic internships
The Undergraduate Internship Position

the primary requirements of the undergraduate intern have a different
emphasis throughout the year, but are in the following areas:

•        
Communication skills
•        Processing of application materials, organization and facilitation
Assistance
in Vona marketing efforts
•  
What we look for in the potential intern
•        Enthusiasm for mission of the  foundation and a relationship and  
familiarity with literature
of color
•        commitment to the position reserving at least six (6) hours per week
•  


Graduate Student Internship --The Internship Position

The primary requirements of the graduate intern have a different
emphasis throughout the year, but are in the following areas:

•      
 Arts administration: facilitation of the program   

•        
Publicity and Marketing

•        Development

What we look for in the potential intern
•        Enthusiasm for mission of the foundation and a relationship and
familiarity with literature  of color
•        commitment to the position
•        experience in public relations or event planning, administrative
support or office management
•        extremely capable on the computer
